Every booking comes with professional LED panel lights, a softbox diffuser and stands, and heavy-duty clamps. You'll also have access to a full backdrop system with multiple colors, including green screen, a clothing rack, lounge seating, a director's chair, a high-velocity fan and stool, cleaning supplies, wifi, phone tripods, extension cords, and keyless self-check-in. A first aid kit and our "For the Girls" bin are also on hand, just in case.

Yes, cameras and personal shooting equipment aren't provided, you'll need to bring your own.

Wifi is included with every session.

Sessions are capped at 12 people. Anything larger is considered an event, reach out to inquire about accommodating additional people.

No one is on-site during your booking. The studio is fully self-service, you'll have the space entirely to yourself.

Leave the space as you found it. Throw away your trash, put furniture and props back where they belong, and take everything you brought with you. Lock the doors. A little care goes a long way, treat the space with the same respect you'd want from the next person.

Open flame, glitter, and confetti are not permitted, along with anything else that's hard to clean up or could damage the walls or furniture, think smoke or fog machines, paint or slime, sand, fake snow spray, and nails, tacks, or tape on the walls.

New Edit Studios is located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, just north of downtown.

Look for our name on the front of the building, we're located at the front, facing the street.

Entry is fully keyless. You'll receive a door code ahead of your session, the same code works for both the front and back doors.

Yes, free parking is available in the shared lot right in front of the building.

Hourly rental is best for a single session when you need the room. A membership is better suited for regular users, like photographers or creatives who want a consistent home studio, or anyone who finds themselves booking often.
